Last night was the first class of Course 3. The first 2 courses have flown by and I'm excited to learn about fondant in this 3rd class. Again, there were only 2 of us in this class, my friend Dena and myself. It's nice to be able to go at our own pace and chat during class. I left a little early from class since it was our 1st Anniversary, but still had time to practice all of the new techniques.There are no pictures to share, but here is a short overview of what we learned. We brought a batch of the Wilton buttercream with us to practice the following techniques:
- Bead Borders
- Cornelli Lace
- Sotas
- Drop Strings, Multiple Drop Strings & Overlapping Drop Strings
- Flower Embroidery
- Ruffles
- Ruffles with Garland
